The ExaMarathon - The aftermath!

I finally get time to update. I miss my blog. I miss my online people. I miss my… *let’s not get into that* oh and to all the people who I like their noses, I still want to bite them *don’t ask* Yeah, my 3 day exam marathon is over. I am so happy. Physiology started off the race with a bang. Then the melodramatic psychology, I hate that subject so much. The more I read it the more I think like a freak. I swear, it’s such a twisted field. I mean it’s nice but not my cup of shit I mean tea. The finale, 2 days of shit, 6 hours of sleep what do they tag to the ending of this nice 3 day consortium of death and academic suicide. Non other than our favorite student assassin, the dreaded Biochemisty. In the history of The Royal College Of Surgeons In Ireland *notice the caps* non has claimed the youth of many… youthful students and their vital life essence and happiness like biochem *for short* *yes we give it a nickname* more like bioSHIT! Yeah it was a hectic 3 days, on the last day morale was so low, suicide seemed to give me a euphoric feel of happiness that it will end my misery and I would wind up in hell which is kinda the same. So I decided not to kill myself because life is not a videogame, no matter what the voices in my head say… *look around suspiciously to see if anyone heard it* well of course no one heard it, you typed the damn thing, *slap on the forehead* At the end of the day, I finished my exam and it was like having a bowel movement obstruction problem * constipation for short* then you let it rip and you feel 20 kgs lighter. The aftermath might be deadly but you just feel so comfy, it’s like you are floating on a cloud of shit fumes. Hahahahah I am just being sick here. Don’t mind me. Yeah so I stepped out into the sun shine. My body weak from the lack of sleep and stress makes me have bowel movement problems the opposite of what I mentioned and it’s the first time, I actually strolled around town in the morning in like 2 weeks. It felt nice. I went to HMV and picked random chats with the gaming staff. It was really refreshing. Went for a small skate around town then met up with a friend for a nice tuna crepe with a walk down Grafton street *MiniCityCenter open airmall/Dhiyafah street hybrid mal Ireland* then I went back home and played Half life 2 deathmatch for a bit. It felt amazing. Man life with out games seriously sucks. I love games. Games are life. Ok am pushing it, well they are. It’s 1:30 am now and I have been awake since 6 am. It’s so cool. I feel weird. I mean happy but very airheaded. I think I need to stop. I have 3 days of pharmacology adventures to go through. I think it will prove to be very mind numbing. Nah it will be fine. I need to do well on that exam. So till the next update. I will bid you farewell. It was a nice marathon. 4.5 years of material examined in 3 exams, 30 questions, and that was it… I can’t wait for my Nintendo DS to arrive… it’s gonna totally rock!

Today was a good day. I was inspired by so many people. The day started kind of shit. I was really feeling down. I had so much work to do but I didn’t think I have much time. I stuffed myself with food, the usual ritual. Then I went out and took some nice photographs. It was nice. I was on my building’s roof garden. It was really stylish. I then proceeded to do some grocery shopping. When I came back I got a very nice pleasant surprise. I got a custom wallpaper. It’s this really amazing painting. It’s so beautiful. My wallpaper rocks. The lady who paiNTed it is so talented mashallah *knock on wood* so being my dumb assed self I sent her an email and I told her could I use it as a wallpaper, and to my surprise she said yes. It’s so nice,oh btw if you are reading this…I say hello, hahah yes everyone is wondering who you are…tan ta taaaaaa. Anyhow, Damn my thought train just broke. One sec let me fix it, yeah so then I studied, my 3rd med dudes had medicine and surgery exam today and everyone is stressed. I am stuck in the middle. It’s cool they be done today afternoon, ok the coolest thing happened to me. Yesterday at around 12 pm I get this email from Nintendo.co.uk, in this email it said as a Nintendo VIP person I get to order and receive the new Nintendo DS (double screen) before everyone else, the release date is 11 March. Only 3000 units are available across Europe. I even get a T-shirt. WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I cant wait. On Monday I am going to pay and wait, actually study, I have so much Biochemistry, Psychology and Physiology to go through, it’s not even funny. There is hope inshallah. I just do not want resits. I want to go to Canada and freeze with my hommies! Anyways all I want to say is that am happy. DS wise, life wise, and I got a kick ass Wallpaper. Today is a good day,and that concludes today's transmission.

Double Blog Day....not am not bored,,,maybe a little

It’s double blog day. My muse is running today. I keep writing about stuff which is not really important but, is kinda important. Well for the past few days I’ve been checking out www.flickr.com. It’s really cool. So many talented photographers out there, it’s so stylish. The community is really nice. Whatelse, my studying sucked today, cant concentrate, my head feels so empty. I cant absorb anything, but I got some work done. I was checking cnet.com and there is this amazing thing called the slipbox or something anyways you hook it up to your decoder,tv and then hook it up to your router. The thing coverts the tv programs into a streaming video and you can watch it over your lan or thru the internet from any broadband connection in the world. It also give you the ability to control the decode. It’s insane, I want to install one back home so I can watch Arabic tv shows from Dublin. It’s for 250 dollars not that expensive for a sexy device like that. Home TV in Dublin thru the net. That’s just amazing.

Anyways am hungry again. So I will go eat…heheh am in pig out mood today. I think I will have some cereal…yummy Corn Pops!

A pleasant wintery day

Sitting in my room, looking out of the window, I can see Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, the street behind it is bustling with traffic. Everyone is going back home after a long day of work. The weather was surprisingly pleasant. The odd showers here and there usually catch you off guard but it wasn’t bad. The day started out fine, was supposed to be waked up by my neighbor on her way to the hospital. It’s better than an alarm clock because that would constitute leaving the bed to open the door, but it never happened so I woke up 1.5 hours late. It’s good I didn’t have classes just work and more work. The exams are nearing. On the other hand it was nice, had a pharmacology review session. The problem is the Prof. didn’t actually do any review, instead he gave the lecture again so, I crept away in the first 10 minutes, problem is the door of the lecture theater slammed after me, Georsan and Hani. We left at intervals as not to alarm the Prof.. It was a very uncreative/unstealthy way to leave. The door slammed 3 times which meant there were 3 interuptions but I went out 1st so Geo and Hani had to bare the stares. On lighter note I have restocked my pepsi stash and gotten so much food from Marks and Spencers. The problem is that it will only last me for 2 to 3 days max. The studying is going ok. Now back to work.

Eid Holiday, or not....

Today was Eid, and to all of you who celebrate it, Eid Mubarak,to all of you who don’t celebrate it,Eid Mubarak, Considering it’s Eid ok to tell you the truth, it was really depressing, it’s raining, it’s cold and everyone is studying. Not the best festive day. It is really annoying cuz you feel homesick. Eid = fun, family and chilling but here its rain, loneliness and books. It felt weird, staying in my apartment felt like I was in a jail cell. My parents and brother are in the Hajj, my other brother is having so much fun in Lebanon he forgot I existed and both my sisters are in Bahrain chilling with family. I am the only person out of the whole family, who is…stuck somewhere. It was all grey until I finished my studying for the day; I switched on my desktop and loaded Half life 2: Deathmatch. A list of servers was being loaded and I choose the one with the most people and the least ping. As soon as my game loaded, the depression turned into frags. The bent up anger was unleashed upon unsuspecting gamers. It felt so amazing. Adrenaline was pumping through my body. It was unlike any other deathmatch as I was listening to music. The usual music is calming music, but this time I The Fake Sound Of Progress by The Lost Prophets. It was awesome. Frag afte Frag, it fuelled the rage. The aim was amazing, the headshots kept rolling. It was phenomenal. The joys of killing people (in a game) was so amazing. Turned my Eid from a downer to a nice relaxing, heart pumping break. HAHaha yes relaxing and heart pumping don’t mix, but check out Half life 2, then you will understand.

Buzzing in the ears....

I just got back from the College Ball, it was amazing. I had so much fun. The outcome is as follows. I decided that I hate wearing a suit. I hate the music that was played today. I hate hating stuff. But I had a blast. It was awesome. Good food *kinda*, a lot of friends, and a very high bass speakers, hence the buzzing in my ears. It was really nice, I found out that a lot of people in school are really nice. All the girls looked simply amazing. I mean you should see them at 830 in the morning for anatomy class and then compare them to the state in which they are in at the party. Very different. I have donned a suit; I wish I could’ve gone in baggy pants and a hoodie, I am really tired, will continue the post 2moro….

A day in a Sim's Life

Life was bad,but now it's good, i sorted out stuff with one of my closest friends in Dublin. It felt amazing, I finally have closure,hahahah i sound like am a detective working on a case. It was weird but now everything is back to normal. This eliviated alot of stress and now i can concentrate on my studies and the up coming college ball. So for the ball the theme is Cabarate, i really dont know what titis and i really dont care, so i decided to rebel, i hate it, every year i wear a suit,and conform to the norm, well no more, this time am going wearing a grey suit, with sneakers,and i will match the shirts and tie to suit the sneakers, i hope it works,and i will spike the hair with the wax.ok enough about that,yup i am looking forward to it.tis this saturday, on the other hand, I love Apple, they are one of the most creative computer companies out there, they push the bounderies of ergonomics and practicality. I think the world would be better if we had more macs, ok on today's add section we have 2 new loves, firstly we have the Mac mini check it out,it's a small ass computer,and it's aswesome, very sexy indeed, on the other hand a new ipod is out, and it's so amazing, it's called the Ipod Shuffle, it's an amazing device,yes more ipods are out, but this has no moving parts basicly it's a memory stick with a small ipod interface, comes in 512mb or 1 gb version, i might pick on up in the future on my wish list,what's good is that is' for a nice 99 dollaz or 149 dollaz for the 1 gig version, it's so amzing,and so nice, yeah anyways i have an anatomy review session in the morning bright and early so i needs to get some shut eye, i leave you on better not and moral,muahahha, take care Cyber world, till then, i leave you to come back to you in a couple of hours,and to all my friends i would like to say, thanx for all the support you have given me, You are the coolest,some of you,the other,well let's not get into that :)

The world is turning, but i lay still...

Do you ever get the feeling that the whole world is growing except you. This feeling is a very depressing one. At this moment in time, I feel that everyone around me is growing and evolving except me. The only thing that am doing is growing in age. You feel as if you are a stagnant pool, collecting more useless bacteria and microbes. I was checking my email today and there is so much going on, except that am not a part of any of what was stated. But then again, we have exams in a month and they count for 60% of our entire grades, this is a freaky thought, I don’t know why I am boring everyone with academic stuff, but that’s the only thing on my mind right now, I cant think of anything else,really want to pass,really want to travel, oven is ready, going to go cook something to eat…

Back in Dublin...

3rd day back. It's rainy,gloomy and very cold. A very big climate change from what i've been thru in Dubai. The holiday was nice. Very hectic, but relaxing. The flight back was fun, flew with my friend, who is nose-less now. I am trying to clean my room as i have tons of studying to do. The exams are upon us and their will be casualties, i hope am not from the dead. Anyways back to re-arranging, wanted to do some deathmatch b4 i sleep. will blog soon, cya

I am sleepy...

I know my titles are growing lamer by the post. A post shouldn't be judged by it's title. I am back in Dubai as i told the cyberworld. It feels good to be home. relaxing not worries what so ever. It's been nearly 5 days and am reaaally relaxed. I havent seen many of my friends as they are flocking back like migrating birds. I am looking forward to meeting them cuz am a lonely person and i find it really difficult to make friends. hahaha i feel like am in a videodating service video recording session. Did i just say that.... No i havent used any yet...but who knows ...today was fun..very laid back and had a small sk8 session it was cool,other than that it was just family and more family,any how i just felt like writing randon stuff here so onto more matters. I picked up a copy of Metroid Prime 2, that game is so intense,i love the detail they put into it, it's just so captivating,i have to muster every ounce of self control just to latch myself off the tv screen,overall i think anyone who appreciates Sci Fi or nintendo style games will love it and everyone who doesn't,i think you are intitled to you own opinion,but all i am saying is that you are missing out on bucket loads of fun. speaking of video games, check out this link it's intense,made me so happy, it states that... Surgeons who play video games three hours a week have 37 percent fewer errors and accomplish tasks 27 percent faster, thats so nice, gives me hope, makes all those ours of intense gaming action worth it, nice hand eye corrdination, enhances photographic memory and spacial thinking and superior interaction with joysticks...really?not pervy way...pshhh...sick minds... sick sick minds...take panadol
